We are thrilled to now offer an evidence-based group for managing anxiety for adolescents ages 13 - 17!  “What to Do with Worry: A CBT Group for Adolescents" is an 8-week group that teaches cognitive-behavioural strategies to manage anxiety in an engaging and supportive environment. Several sessions will include parents and will focus on ways you can talk about anxiety in your family, respond to your teen’s anxiety, and support them as they work on strategies for managing anxiety.

This group will be led by two of Cornerstone’s Registered Psychologists: Dr. Penny Sneddon and Dr. Tara Jukes. The next group will be held after school on Tuesdays in Fall/Winter 2025. If you are on the waitlist for individual services, please note you will keep the same position even if you participate in the group.  However, some families may no longer require individual services following participation in the group.

If you have any questions or wonder if this group is the right fit for your family, we are happy to provide a 10 minute complimentary phone call to discuss the group.
