The virtual Tic Management Group for Adults provides adults (ages 19 years and above) an opportunity to learn practical, effective tools for managing tics and associated challenges in a supportive small-group format. Grounded in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), participants will learn evidence-based strategies to better understand, manage, and reduce the impact of tics on daily life

8 virtual sessions - 75 minutes each
2 optional one-on-one sessions are also available to participants
Group Content
Habit reversal tools (e.g., tic awareness, tic urges, competing responses)
Skills to identify and modify tic “triggers” and “tamers” (e.g., situations, activities, emotions, and environmental factors that can worsen or ease tics)
Tools for navigating stressors/challenging situations that can arise from tics
Support to develop personalized tools for managing tics in everyday life
Opportunities to connect with others who understand life with tics, exchange practical ideas, practice skills together, and support one another
Supportive, low-pressure, confidential setting where group members contribute and share at their own pace and comfort level

Referrals are accepted on an ongoing basis. Our next group will be offered in January 2027 with session dates/times to be determined based on participant availability. Cost
$225 per session. Participants receive a receipt and costs may be covered by extended health plans or other third party payers.
