Paula holds a Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of British Columbia and is currently in the process of registering as a School Psychologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC. Paula provides psychoeducational assessments under the supervision of Dr. Annie Simpson (Registered Psychologist).

Paula provides psychoeducational assessments to children and youth (6 – 18 years) with a wide range of support needs, including learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, behavioural difficulties, and giftedness. She currently works with the Richmond School District providing assessments and consultation to school teams and families.

Drawing from evidence-based training and a strong understanding of school systems and supports, Paula’s assessments aim to highlight each child’s strengths and identify areas in need of support. Her goal is to provide clear, practical, and individualized recommendations to support children's learning and growth in the classroom and beyond. Paula’s approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and centered around making the assessment process engaging and meaningful for both children and their families. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is committed to providing inclusive and culturally responsive care.
